APL & TCL Signed Contract for Software Development
A contract signing ceremony held for development & implementation of software application for American President Line (APL) Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd. recently. APL Managing Director Mr. M. This application will retrieve data from Main Frame computer situated in APL Technical Office at USA and generate reports locally for Bangladesh Bank, Port Authority, Customs, NBR and APL in-house use.

Sena Kalyan Sangstha & Technohaven Company Limited Sign contract for supply and implementation of Welfare Management System (WMS)
Sena Kalyan Sangstha (SKS), the welfare trust for ex-servicemen from the armed forces signed an agreement with Technohaven Co. Ltd, a well-known software house of the country on July 11, 2005 to develop and implement the Welfare Management System (WMS) business solution software for the automation of its Welfare Directorate activities.
The WMS will allow SKS to undertake faster processing of thousands of welfare applications each year and disburse welfare payments in line with budgetary provisions expeditiously.

Technohaven successfully implements web-based application at
Cairn Energy
Technohaven Company Limited have successfully designed, developed and installed the Gas Supply & Demand Database Software for Cairn Energy Sangu Field Limited on February 13 2005. Cairn Energy is based in England and has office in Dhaka, Bangladesh. They are exploring gas from Sangu Field in the Bay of Bengal. The Gas Supply & Demand Database System, a web-based solution developed with ASP.NET and MS SQL Server gives Cairn Energy a cutting edge tool to analyze future gas demand and supply and also compare the future gas demand with Historical Demand Data. This web application is accessible through Intranet and currently being used by Cairn Offices in Dhaka, India and England.
Technohaven participates in CeBIT 2005, Hannover, Germany
Technohaven Co. Ltd. participated for the second time in a row in CeBIT 2005 that was held from March 10 to 16, 2005 in Hannover, Germany. The stall was under the SIPPO Pavillion in Hall 04, Stand A 04. Objective of this participation was to show its project management potentials (Software outsourcing, BPO etc.), Business class software (Core Banking, ERP, Reservation, Solution for leasing etc.) and system integration capabilities. Technohaven aims to establish collaborative relationship with potential clients, software and system integration firms to maximize its capabilities for any intermediate project. Mr. Mohammad Ali Barki, Marketing Officer and Mr. Joerg Milieski, Technohaven’s German partner represented Technohaven in CeBIT.
CeBIT 2005 was similar to last year in almost every aspect. This year there were also 27 Halls, the only difference was that this year there was a separate hall for Outsourcing companies. The rise in exhibitor numbers to 6,270 (compared with 6,109 last year) and total visitors of 480,000 indicate that there has been a significant industry growth since CeBIT 2004.
Technohaven Company Ltd. participates in BASIS SOFTEXPO 2004
Technohaven Co. Ltd. participated in the BASIS SOFTEXPO 2004, the largest software showcase in the country. The event was held at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center, Dhaka, Bangladesh from November 25 to 29, 2004. Around 120companies from home and abroad participated in this event.
Technohaven displayed its copy righted software on Core banking, ERP, Leasing and Reservation. Around four thousand visitors visited the Technohaven booth that included foreigners, diplomats of foreign missions, Ministers & Secretaries of Bangladesh Government, Industry leaders, entrepreneurs, executives and others.

Technohaven Co. Ltd. arranged a seminar on ‘Use of IT for reducing wastage and ensuring quality in manufacturing’ today at Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Mahiuddin Ahmed, professor, Industrial Production Engineering (IPE) of BUET presented the keynote paper on ‘Application of Information Technology in Manufacturing’. He discussed various aspect of the usage of IT in the manufacturing process. Mr. Fazle R.M. Hasan, president Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) attended as chief guest while Mr. Mainuddin Monem, Director Abdul Monem Ltd. the local bottler of Coca Cola spoke as guest speaker. Haque, Chairman, Computer Center and Faculty member, Institute of Business Administration (IBA) University of Dhaka presented the keynote speech on ‘Information Systems for Optimizing Business Operations‘. Abdul Momen Ltd. & Technohaven sign contract for supply and implementation of ERP solution
Abdul Momen Ltd. (AML), licensed bottler and distributor of Coca Cola products in Bangladesh will implement ERP solution in its operation to overcome the challenges in its business expansion. On October 5, 2004 they signed an agreement with Technohaven Co. Ltd. for supply, implementation and support of Technohaven Enterprise Resource Management System (TERMS). This comprehensive ERP software application will automate Production & Inventory Management System, Sales & Distribution Management System and Financial Management System of AML.
The contract was signed at AML headquarter. Mr. Mainduddin Momen, Director Finance & Admin representing AML while Mr. Habibullah N. Karim, Managing Director represented Technohaven. Senior executives of both the companies were also present at the ceremony.
Mr. Mainuddin Momen said that Technohaven has done some excellent jobs in the IT field of Bangladesh and is also a reputed firm in international markets and proved them worthy of the responsibility of a major project like this. He also expressed that competition is getting tougher everyday, and with the help of TERMS, they look forward to increase their overall productivity. Mr. Habibullah N. Karim expressed his confidence that with TERMS AML’s productivity & efficiency will rise making them more competitive in the local market. He emphasized the long-term relationship with all of Technohaven’s clients. Mr. Mainuddin Momen thanked Technohaven for putting together this project and hoped to harness the power of IT more effectively in future.

Technohaven completes the first phase of work in Thailand
Technohaven Co. Ltd. completed its first phase of work in Thailand for the implementation of Technohaven Leasing & Investment Solution (TeLIS) for Cathay Lease Plan Ltd. Mr. M. Mizanur Rahman – Business Analyst and Mr. Quazi Mortuza Ali – Software Architect of Technohaven went to Thailand for two weeks and returned home after a successful completion of their work. The second phase of work is scheduled to start from 25th October 2004.
